Order taking

The order taking process is best characterized by its flexibility. Customers may make orders by phone, by fax or through a team of sales representatives who regularly visit retailers. In addition, the billing system is simple and easy to understand.
 

   
   

Delivery

Sico Inc. offers fast, effective delivery. In the greater Montreal and Quebec City areas, a 24-hour maximum delay is required. Outside of those centers, delays vary between 24 and 48 hours depending on distance.


Other Services

In addition to order taking, the customer service center provides the following services:

  • Technical support and information on products and their applications to architects, designers, painters, retailers and consumers.
  • Complaint resolution
  • Color preparation
  • Computer search for the retailer closest to the customer
  • Administrative support for retailers

Customer services are open every day of the week. They receive more than 250,000 calls a year, about 100,000 of which are technical in nature. There is no voice prompt menu at Customer Services. The service is customized and employees receive ongoing training about all Sico Inc. products.
