Sealants and adhesives can also be classified according to the ways in which they are used. Surfaces can be subjected to more or less severe usage and some products are specifically designed with this in mind. We should thus become acquainted with the main uses of the products.
Sealants
Following are the results of a study commissioned by Sico Inc. on the use of sealants.
Outdoors, consumers apply sealants mostly on doors and windows (90%). Indoors, sealants are mostly applied in kitchens and bathrooms (90%). This is why Mulco has designed specific products for doors and windows, and for kitchens and bathrooms. Mulco also makes a product specifically designed for gutters.
